Halloween orders are complete!
I mailed off the last of my Halloween orders late last week. Looks like Halloween 2010 will be special for the little boys and girls I created costumes for. Now I move on to my next project...a church dedication dress for my 3 month old daughter.

Busiest Season of the Year Again
I'm happy to say this has been the busiest season of the year for me...second year running. Halloween has brought in costume requests and gives me a chance to be creative. I posted a few photos of my creations this season. My #1 request for a second year in a row has been my infant to toddler costume Bam Bam from the Flintstones!
So far I've created a Hello Kitty outfit complete with cat ears, a vintage (1960's) inspired Batman and Joker. I'm currently making several Bam Bams and Pebbles'. A new challenge for me this year will be creating an iddy biddy Pebbles costume for a teacup Yorkie dog. I couldn't turn it down! I'm willing to try most things once.

I'm Back and ready to CREATE!
It's been quite a while since I've been able to post a blog. Since I last blogged we have packed up and moved into our new home. We also welcomed the newest addition to our family...our baby girl Talia back in July. I have recently reopened my Etsy shop www.lamblegs.etsy.com.
I'm back just in time for one of my favorite times of the year...Fall. I am currently taking costume requests for Halloween for infant to toddler costumes. So far the most popular request is Bam Bam from The Flintstones.
Keep checking in...I'll be posting my recent creations soon.

Getting ready for a move
We have so many things to look forward too over the next several months. We just found out that we're having another baby girl in addition to my current 2 and we are selling our home to move to a more functional floorplan. Due to the packing and staging our home to sell I had to put my Etsy shop www.lamblegs.etsy.com into vacation mode. I will not be able to make custom orders at this time but if anyone has any questions or requests you're still welcome to contact me in the meantime. Thanks. ;)

Easter Egg Felt Cookies and Chocolate Bunny
Just in time for Easter! I just posted my felt Easter egg sugar cookies and felt milk chocolate bunny in my Etsy shop this morning. These are the perfect alternative to candies and chocolates in your child's Easter basket. Your toddler will enjoy putting on "pretend" icing on these cookies while nibbling on the milk chocolate bunny. All felt foods I create are based on my own patterns that I've created.
I already have one set (3 cookies and 1 bunny) ready to ship off on the next business day so go to my Etsy shop at www.lamblegs.etsy.com and make your purchase.

Felt Food Creations
Here are some photos of my recent felt food pieces that I added to my shop today.
I think my two favorites are the animal cookies because they're unique and the beef and broccoli stir fry because it teaches a child about ethnic meals. All of my felt food are my creations and made of out patterns that I originally sketched on paper.

Introducing Lamblegs' Felt Pretend Play Food
I'm excited to have felt play food now for sale in my shop. I have been contemplating creating some felt food pieces for a year now and have recently made time in between projects to make this happen. My oldest daughter has started to "pretend play" which has motivated me to do this for her and for my shop. Felt food makes great gifts for those over 3 years and up. I used to love to "pretend" play as a child. I believe it encourages a child to imagine and gives them practice in role playing that will effect them later in their adult life.
